Pere Valls and the UEA Foundation are committed to the professional future of young people in Anoia.

This Wednesday, we had the opportunity to attend the presentation of the 2024-2025 academic year of the Professions de Futur project, one of the UEA Foundation's most prominent programs. This project seeks to bring young people in the Anoia region closer to the world of work, facilitating their career guidance and offering them a clear vision of the opportunities available to them. This year has been especially significant, with more than 1,900 participating students, nearly 60 sessions delivered, 13 educational centers involved, and 37 volunteer companies and professionals collaborating with the project.

This project is essential for young people to understand the opportunities offered by local industry, as well as the values and challenges that define Anoia's business community. This exchange of experiences not only benefits students but also helps companies raise awareness and make our work visible to society, establishing a collaborative network that strengthens the bond between young people, businesses, and institutions in Anoia.

At Pere Valls, we had the privilege of participating in a 2024 session at the Milà and Fontanals Higher and Advanced Chemistry training courses. During this session, we introduced students to the different sectors where chemistry plays a fundamental role, offering them a practical and real-life view of chemical processes and applications in industry. We are also very excited to continue collaborating on this project in 2025.
